What?
Once you ‘sneak’ into an auction, how do you plan on buying a vehicle without the proper information they give you when you register at the auction?

If you’re looking for a reliable car for yourself or someone you know, I would recommend the dealer between the 2 options. Unless you can afford the higher risk of getting a lemon at the auction, I would avoid it. Although, you may be able to get a better deal at the auction, there is normally a reason the cars are being sold for less there and you will have limited time and options to find out what the reasons may be.
My recommendation for that price range would actually be option C – private sellers. You can find plenty of cars in that price range and fully inspect them or even have a mechanic check it out for you. Don’t forget to negotiate. Finding a motivated seller is easier than finding a motivated dealer.

mmm, try finding a car on the internet maby something like Ebay, then you will find proper info about the car, and you will be able to ask the seller about the car.
lets say you went to an auction and spend 2500 for a car, you never know how much more you will have to spend just for repairs, which he didnt mention, for example the gearbox might be 2 days from its death…
and a dealer is pretty much a hustler
