I am not sure how long shes gonna be in there but i have a signed Jonas brothers poster in there and my digital camera and some other personal items . Thanks for the help!

Usually when cars are impounded you cant go into it because it becomes the property of the city

My car was impounded for a DUI. I don’t have the money to pay the fees to get it out. My license are with the police so I can’t show proof of ID. My birth certificate is in my car, my husbands birth certificate is in there along with my tax papers and my blackberry. Please someone tell me what I can do

Why is your birth certificate in the car? Why is your husbands birth certificate in the car? What on Earth where you doing driving around with all that information, and then on top of that, you are drunk. I hope you learned a valuable lesson. You are in a pickle, an expensive pickle. I guess I am not a whole lot of help, but you need to freeze your credit reports and put a fraud alert to your local bank. All that information that you had in your car can give somebody access to your bank accounts or make fraudulent charges on your behalf. As far as impounds go, just go talk to them to see what is required of you.

Seems more and more sellers are buying cars from auctions. Should i trust this kind of car some say the had it for 2 or 4 months? It checks out on autocheck, but would you buy are car from a private seller that bought it in a auction?

What’s to trust or not to trust?
Whether it’s a used car at an auction, or a private sale, or a flea market, it’s a used car.
You don’t buy a car based on where it was purchased, you buy it based on researching that specific vehicle, and deciding whether it’s a good purchase or not.
