Whether you get your car back from impound or not, insurance on it will continue unless and until you call your agent and cancel the insurance coverage.

One really has nothing to do with the other.

But if you don’t plan to get the vehicle out of impound, it will cost much less if you let the impound company know that sooner instead of later, and if you supply the title the storage fees will usually stop.

when i checked my car down the street this morning, it wasn’t there then i went to the police station and they told me the car’s glass was broken. so they impounded my car for the safety of it. So now, I have to go and pick it up if they ask for the impound, do I have to pay for the charges?. And also if anyone knows, Do you how much exactly will it be?

Usually when cars are impounded you cant go into it because it becomes the property of the city
